Defendants 4 to 8 have presented this application to condone the delay of 233 days in filing the written statement of the fourth defendant and the adoption memo of defendants 5 to 8. In the affidavit in support of this application, the deponent has stated that she was suffering from various health ailments and, therefore, could not instruct her counsel for filing the written statement. On instructions, learned counsel for the plaintiff states that he has no objection to this application being allowed.

2. Upon examining the affidavit in support and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, this application is allowed. Consequently, the Registry is directed to receive the written statement and adoption memo of defendants 4 to 8.
