Heard Mr. S.Sivakumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.
The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First and Second Respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 12.06.2017 made by the Petitioner within a reasonable time for fixing the seniority on par with the First batch based on the marks secured by him in the Police Training College as per Rules.

Learned Special Government pleader appearing for the Respondents has brought to notice that by Proceedings in Rc. No. 284045/Rec.II(1)/2011 dated 30.01.2021, the Second Respondent has passed orders fixing the seniority of the Petitioner and its copy has been placed on record. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also acknowledges receipt of a copy of the same. In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
