ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give retrospective regularization from the date of her initial appointment i.e 13.11.2006 and place her in regular time scale of pay and grant her selection grade scale of pay on completion of 10 years of service in the post of cook from 13.11.2016 and fix her pay accordingly on that basis and disburse the monetary benefits thereof, within a stipulated time frame.
2. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal today at the admission stage itself.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner who joined as a Cook in the Government Adi-Dravidar Welfare Girls Hostel, Panruti on 13.11.2006 on consolidated pay, has been brought into regular scale of pay with effect from 25.02.2011 and subsequently, regularized into service by proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.(W10)7936/2011, dated
19.05.2011 with effect from 25.02.2011 and awarded Selection Grade thereafter. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her services have not been regularized from the date of initial appointment i.e., on 13.11.2006. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents on 21.07.2025, but, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, this Writ Petition.
5. On perusal of records, it is seen that though the representation is dated 21.07.2025, the same has been sent through Registered Post only on 28.07.2025. Moreover, no proof has been annexed to the Writ Petition to show that the representation has been served or not. Hence, it is suffice to direct the petitioner to send a fresh copy of the representation, dated 21.07.2025 to the respondents who may consider the same on merits.
6. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to send a fresh copy of the representation, dated 21.07.2025 along with a copy of this order to the respondents as early as possible. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
No costs.
