PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.22282 of 2019 in Crl.M.P.No.1437 of 2019 in Cr.No.42 of 2019 by the Principal Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai on 23.10.2019 and kindly extend the time for furnishing the sureties and other conditions by one week.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.22282 of 2019 in Crl.M.P.No.1437 of 2019 in Cr.No.42 of 2019 by the Principal Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai on 23.10.2019 and kindly extend the time for furnishing the sureties and other conditions by one week.

2. Heard Mr.M.J.Senthil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner herein, who has been arrayed as an accused, was ordered to be released on bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai on 30.01.2019 on certain conditions. But, the petitioner herein had not complied with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conditions, within the time stipulated by the Trial Court. Hence, he had filed an extension petition before the Principal Sessions Court in Crl.M.P.No.22282 of 2019 and by an order dated 23.10.2019, the same came to be dismissed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the order dated 23.10.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.22282 of 2019 is set aside. Consequently, this Court directs the petitioner herein to comply with the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
