Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent police submitted that after the completion of investigation in Crime No.1544 of 2017, the 1st respondent police has filed a Referred Charge Sheet (RCS) dated 18.09.2023 before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008 stating that further action in regard to FIR registered in Crime No.1544 of 2017 against the petitioners for the offence under Sections 430 & 409 of I.P.C has been closed as Mistake of Fact. A copy of the said RCS has been forwarded to the parties concerned.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 19.09.2023 mrr Index: Yes/No 2/4
