ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents, to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2022, seeking to appoint him as Record Clerk on humanitarian ground.
2. Heard Mr.V.R. Appaswamee, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.P. Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.V. Jeeva Giridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the fourth respondent. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/4
3. The petitioner claims that he has been working on daily wage basis at Harur Panchayat Union Office, Dharmapuri District from 01.03.1998 onwards. Due to his long service, he seeks for an appointment as a Record Clerk on humanitarian ground. He has given a representation on 27.10.2022 for the said purpose. Since the representation has not been considered till date, he has filed this Writ Petition.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2022, seeking for his appointment as a Record Clerk on humanitarian ground, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
