The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.11.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 397 & 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.513 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused have came in an Auto, waylaid the de-facto complainant, assaulted him and snatched his mobile phone. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is at initial stage and there are 4 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. Considering the facts and submissions of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has been arrested very recently, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
