Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for records on the file of the respondent impugned Refusal Check Slip No. RFL / Acchirapakkam / 189 / 2024 dated 23.08.2024 quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 23-08-2024 by verifying the certified copy of the parent document bearing No. 1031/1986 and encumbrance certificate without insisting for original parent deed. 1/4

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned Refusal Check Slip No. RFL / Acchirapakkam / 189 / 2024 dated 23.08.2024 and consequently direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 23.08.2024 by verifying the certified copy of the parent document bearing No.1031/1986 and encumbrance certificate without insisting for original parent deed.

2. A Refusal Check Slip has been issued directing the petitioner to produce the original parent document.

3. In the light of the Judgement passed by this Court in Ramayee - Vs - The Sub Registrar and others - (2020 (6) CTC 697), the impugned order cannot be sustained.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. The respondent is directed to register the sale deed dated 23.08.2024, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
