O R D E R

[Made by S. M. SUBRAMANIAM, J.,] The present contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 06.02.2024 passed in W.P.No.2523 of 2024.

2. This Court passed an order directing the respondents authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.09.2023 and take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that action has been initiated, encroachments have been identified and notice has also been issued. Since there is resistance from the encroachers, further actions have been initiated. Thus, the representation submitted by the petitioner has been addressed in view of the order and the authorities have not committed any wilful disobedience of the order dated 06.02.2024 passed in W.P.No.2523 of 2024.
