O R D E R

Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes for the first respondent. With the consent of both the parties the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage, itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider his representation dated 21.09.2023, wherein and whereby, he sought to issue Patta in his favour in respect of S.Nos.29/A, 29/B, 29/C of Government Kallankuthu Poromboke, situated at Akarapalayam Village, Arani Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given a representation dated 21.09.2023 to issue Patta in Page Nos.2/5

respect of the subject properties, the first respondent has not considered the same till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition as not pressed and gave up the second respondent and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition and the same is recorded.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered by the first respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, rival claimants and/or adjacent owners, within a Page Nos.3/5

period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
