O R D E R

The petitioner who filed the writ petition died during the pendency of the writ petition. The issue raised in the writ petition is relating to patta proceedings.

2. In view of the death of the writ petitioner, the legal heirs of the writ petitioner are at liberty to pursue the remedy in the manner known to law by approaching the competent authorities. In the event of any such approach by the legal heirs of the writ petitioner, the competent authorities shall adjudicate the issues afresh on merits and in accordance with law.

3. With the aforesaid liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
