Heard Ms.K.Sridevi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is the husband in the matrimonial proceedings having approached the Family Court, Chennai, initially in the year 2023 seeking dissolution of marriage with the respondent. However, 1/3

subsequently, at the request of the respondent/wife, the proceedings have been transferred to the Sub Court, Alandur in O.S.No.427 of 2024. Considering the fact that the petitioner has approached the Family Court, Chennai, even in the year 2023 and taking into account that the respondent is also presently residing in Abroad and that she is also appearing through video-conferencing to attend the proceedings before the Sub-Court, Alandur, I am inclined to allow this revision petition by directing the Subordinate Court, Alandur, to dispose of O.P.No.427 of 2024 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 31.01.2026.

3. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
