Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Declaration. declaring that the impugned G.O.Ms.No.64 dated 25.05.2006 notifying the Pondicherry Private Professional Educational Institutions (Domicile requirement in Admission of Students) Regulations, 2006, issued by the respondent, the Government of Pondicherry, is violative of the Constitution of India and null and void. The prayer in this writ petition is for declaration to declare G.O.Ms.No.64 dated 25.05.2006, notifying the Pondicherry Private Professional Educational Institutions (Domicile requirement in Admission of Students) Regulations, 2006, is violative of the Constitution of India and null and void.

2. This Court, while admitting the writ petition has not granted any interim order. Now, the matter is listed before the Court after a period of eleven years and by this time, several changes have been made with regard to the admission to the Private Professional Educational Institutions. Therefore, I find nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
