This petition has been filed to call for records in C.C.No.3234 of 2017 pending on the file of the XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and quash the same against these petitioners.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the trial has been commenced and the prosecution has examined P.Ws.1 to 4 and posted for further evidence of LW 9 and 11 i.e., the Doctor and the investigation officer. At this stage, the trial proceedings cannot be quashed.

3.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
