The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.559 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa) r/w 4(1-A) ii of TNP Act. The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 07.10.2023.

2.It is stated that the petitioner was in possession of 60 litres of ID arrack.

3.It is also stated that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner herein.

4.Taking into consideration that factor, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
