Crl.O.P.No.24598 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner/A2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.06.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 22(c) and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.185 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.It is stated that the respondent had caught hold of the accused persons and on search, they had recovered 60 grams of Methamphetamine from A1, which is commercial quantity.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the recovery was only from A1. But however, it is contended by the respondent that all the accused persons were in constructive possession. It is also stated that the FSL report has is awaited.

4.In view of the fact that investigation has not yet been completed and also owing to the quantity of psychotropic substances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
