ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner as the President, District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Madurai or President of any other 16 vacancies which is lying vacant in District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in the State of Tamil Nadu by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2017.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to the passage of 2 / 4

time, the prayer sought for in this petition become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the endorsement made by him, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
