C.M.A.No.3467 of 2017 S.VAIDYANATHAN,J.
This matter is placed before this Court seeking extension of time for a further period of six months' to dispose of the Suit in O.S.No.14334 of 2010 pending on the file of the VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
2. This Court, by an order dated 25.06.2019 passed an order in the above Appeal that the trial of O.S.No.14334 of 2010 shall be completed on or before 19.09.2019 and made clear that no more request for further extension will be entertained.
3. It is represented by the learned counsel for the parties that the VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, in his communication, has stated that, the learned counsel for the 1st Defendant took 11 days for completing his cross-examination and that, the 2nd Defendant is going to examine 20 witnesses on their side. Hence, the learned Judge has sought six month's time to dispose of the case.
4. As requested by the learned VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, six months' time is granted to dispose of the Suit in O.S.No.14334 of 2010, pending on the file of the VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. It is made clear that, no further extension of time will be granted.
5. It is represented by the learned counsel for the parties that, there is a stay of further proceedings in the connected Civil Revision Petition and hence, no further proceedings will take place.
6. Depending upon the outcome of the connected Civil Revision Petition, the VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, shall proceed with the pending Suit, and dispose of the same within a period of three months, without adjourning the matter beyond two working days at any point of time.
