(R3 impleaded as per order dated 19.04.2013 in MP.No.1/13 in WP.29435/2006) Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to strictly adhere and to comply with the grant of Membership to only the central Controlling Bodies of cricket in the states and the union Territories and ensure benefits and grants and other entitlements equitably and equally distributed to each state and union Territory including the Petitioners Association by adopting "one Member being the Central Controlling body of the state "and not otherwise and be pleased to accord full Membership to the cricket Association of Pendicherry as Central Controlling Body of Cricket in the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the efflux of time subsequent developments were taken place and this writ petition may be disposed of and he has made the following endorsement in the bundle:
"The Committee of Administrators appointed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court has acceded "Member" status to Cricket Association of Pondicherry in October 2017.
In view of the same, the writ petition may be disposed of and thus render justice."
2. Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
