Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned orders issued by the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.114, School Education (PL-1) Department dated 30.05.2017 and the subsequent notification issued by the third respondent in Notification No.27/2017 dated 21.11.2017 and to quash the same in so far as Notification of 9 vacancies to the post of District Library Officer in Tamil Nadu Educational Service is concerned and consequently directing the respondents to draw year wise panel from the year 2011-12 and to fill up the post of District Library Officer governed by Adhoc Rules by recruitment by transfer as per the provisions of Tamil Nadu Act No.14/2016 and consequently consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Librarian Grade-I in the existing vacancy in the year 2012 with consequential appointment to the post of District Library Officer by recruitment by transfer based on seniority and eligibility and other service benefits.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous as the petitioner has been promoted pending this writ petition and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
