Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring the act of the 3rd respondent, detaining the petitioner's original Educational certificates even after the petitioner's resignation from the 3rd respondent bank and not returning the same even after several requests by the petitioner, as illegal and

violative of Article 19(1)(g) and Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequentially direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.12.2006 and award compensation to the petitioner.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Declaration declaring the act of the third respondent, detaining the petitioner's original Educational certificates even after the petitioner's resignation from the third respondent bank and not returning the same even after several requests by the petitioner, as illegal and violative of Article 19(1)(g) and Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequentially direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.12.2006 and award compensation to the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that after filing of the writ petition, as per the instructions from the D.G.M. H.R.D., Erode Road, Karur, the entire certificates were handed over to the petitioner and the petitioner has also made

acknowledgement to that effect. The learned counsel has also produced a copy of the letter dated 12.03.2007 from the petitioner before this Court.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
