ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce petitioner's father K.Murugan, aged about 55 years, son of Kandasamy, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore and to release him on parole based on petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2019, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2. The petitioner, who is the son of the detenu, by name, K.Murugan, seeks a direction for the release of the detenu on the premise that the detenu will have to attend the interview scheduled to be held on 06.11.2019 at 10.30 a.m. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Inasmuch as the aforesaid reason assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition is not in dispute, we are inclined to grant two days parole starting from today i.e., 05.11.2019 to 06.11.2019 subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to release the detenu before 6.00 p.m. on 05.11.2019 with minimum escort. The detenu shall return back to the prison on 06.11.2019 at 7 p.m.
4. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of.
