PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, Calling for records of the pertaining to the unilateral registration of the settlement Cancellation deed in Document No.4085/2009 dated 15.7.2009 and subsequently registered Settlement Deed in Doc. No. 2076/2017 dated 22.03.2017 on the file of the 3rd Respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent viz., to remove the related entries in the records of Encumbrance Certificates in the office of the Sub Registrar, Pollachi. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported that the writ petitioner has passed away pending writ petition. The writ petition is of the year 2017 and no steps have been taken to implead the legal representatives of the deceased writ petitioner.

2. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
