Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 18.10.2019 for regularize the service of the petitioner from the year 1997 with service and pensioner benefits within stipulated period.

The case of the petitioner is that he was worked as Sweeper/Sanitary worker during the year 1997 to 2018, in the Land Recovery Department under over all control of the respondents herein. After 22 years of service his service not regularized. Therefore, he made a representation on 18.10.2018 before the respondents for regularizing his service, even till date his representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, he filed the present Writ Petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue directions to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 18.10.2019 and pass orders.

3. Mr.K.S.Suresh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents conceded to the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 18.10.2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass orders within a period of Twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
