ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No.229 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Poonamallee.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the trial has commenced, and six witnesses have been examined so far and the case is now posted for hearing on 09.01.2026. 3.

In view of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
