Mr.Ralph V.Manohar COMMON ORDER (1) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and the learned counsel for the respondent/defacto complainant. (2) It appears that the trial has commenced in CC.Nos.252/2015 and 575/2016 in the Court of the Judicial Magistrate at Fast Track Court in Alandur, Chennai and P.W.1 has grazed the witness box and cross-examination of P.W.1 has also commenced and is underway.

(3) Since the learned counsel for the present petitioner has taken a conscious decision to participate in the trial proceedings and the petitioner herein has also given necessary instructions to that particular counsel to conduct cross-examination, it would only be appropriate, not only this Court, but also that the learned counsel pays respect to that particular counsel who is handling trial and permits the counsel to proceed with conducting trial. (4) Interference by this Court, whatever may be the grounds, is not warranted and is extremely inappropriate. (5) In the result, both the Criminal Original Petitions stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Let the learned Magistrate proceed with the trial in both the Calendar Cases as stated in the Code of Criminal Procedure and give a judgment at the earliest.
