ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 16.09.2012, the accused was found in possession of six bottles of liquor of 180 ml each. Since the same comes within the personal consumable limit and secondly since the case is pending since 2012, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the case pending.

2. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.42 of 2024 of Judicial Page No.1 of 3

Magistrate Court, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is allowed.

08.09.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
