This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus, seeking a direction against the third respondent, the Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2024.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been contended that the petitioner had joined duty as Sergeant in the year 2004 and retired from service on 30.09.2018. But however, his retirement benefits had been withheld by the third respondent University. The petitioner had given continuous representations on and from 15.02.2020 and lastly on 27.08.2024. The third respondent had not responded to any of the representations.

3.A direction is issued to the third respondent to pay the retirement benefits to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order together with appropriate interest.
