This petition has been filed to quash the Final Report in C.C.No.1367 of 2013 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur.

2. This matter was listed for admission on 22.12.2017. At the time of admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner took an adjournment, therefore the matter was adjourned to 05.01.2018. Thereafter, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not take any steps to list the matter and therefore, the matter is pending for the past 3 years even at the stage of admission. It shows that the petitioner has not interested to proceed the matter further. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as 8th accused and he is being the purchaser of the disputed property, now, the sale deed executed in his favour has been 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cancelled and the defacto complainant is ready to compromise the matter with the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to file the quash petition, after settling the issue with the defacto complainant on compromise.

3. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
