Heard Mr. M.Arunachalam, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. U.Baranidharan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents, Mr. T.Chezian, Learned Counsel appearing for the Third Respondent and Ms. K.Ashwini Devi, Learned Counsel appearing for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The grievance ventilated by the Petitioner is that he has made representations dated 29.04.2023 and 16.08.2023 to the Third Respondent for removal of the garbage and waste dumped into his agricultural lands in Peddur Village, Alangayam Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupathur District, and as it did not evoke any response, it has necessitated the filing of this Writ Petition. 3.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Third Respondent, on instructions, states that the entire debris has been cleared at the location mentioned by the Petitioner today, and photographs have been produced showing the cleared area 2/5

with a board displayed not to throw waste there and he has filed a memo dated 17.11.2023 to that effect, which is placed on record. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner accepts the same.

It is needless to add here that the Third Respondent shall ensure that suitable places are ear-marked in the vicinity for the local residents to discharge their garbage so that it could be cleared regularly in a hygienic manner maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings.

In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but it would not preclude the Petitioner, if he still has any further grievance, from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
