O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue a patta for the plot No.168, measuring an extent of 2400 Sq.ft comprised in Survey No.357/2C situated at New No.108, Manimangalam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the

merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner and interested parties/rival claimants if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the abovesaid direction, The Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
