In this case, the accused, who was convicted in S.T.C.No.823 of 2010 on 27.12.2012, was set aside in C.A.No.1 of 2013 by the Additional District and Sessions Court, Namakkal on 08.11.2013. Challenging the same, the complainant preferred C.A.No.13 of 2014 before this Court, in which, the order of acquittal was set aside on 23.01.2017 and the matter was remanded for fresh disposal to the trial Court. The trial Court conducted retrial and convicted the accused once again on 22.03.2018. The appeal in C.A.No.36 of 2018 that was filed by the accused, was dismissed by the Sessions Court, Fast Track Mahila Court, Namakkal on 11.08.2018. The accused filed Crl.R.C.No.1159 of 2018 before this Court, was dismissed on 06.09.2019.
