The petition is filed to condone the delay of 241 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal.

2. Though notice served on the 1st respondent, there is no representation.

3. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that petitioner/claimant is not entitled to claim interest for the delay period.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay is condoned. Accordingly, the civil miscellaneous petition is allowed.

5. It is made clear that petitioner is not entitled to claim interest for the delay period.
