ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register an FIR in respect of Tatkal Ration Cards issued and further direct fair and independent investigation of the offence. 2.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR has been registered in Crime No.218 of 2018 and after investigation the same was closed as mistake of fact on 16.03.2022. The closure report was also filed before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate (CCB & CBCID), Egmore, Chennai. In fact, the said closure report was challenged by the petitioner and the same was dismissed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, in Crl.M.P.No.17265 of 2021, dated 25.11.2022, by accepting the closure report.
