O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.10.2022 and to measure and fix boundaries for the vacant land measuring 19 cents comprised in S.No.796/3, Patta No.7001 previously Pakkam village, presently Nathamedu village, Tiruvallur Taluk and District within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The petitioner made an application on 09.05.2022 to the respondents and also paid a sum of Rs.400/- as fee for measurement and to fix boundary stones. In order to consider the said application by the second respondent Tahsildar, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.S.Jagannathan learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that, in order to act upon on the application submitted by the petitioner dated 09.05.2022, six weeks time is required for measuring the land and to lay boundary stones.. 2 / 4

5. Having considered the said submission of the learned Special Government Pleader this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

" That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the application of the petitioner dated 09.05.2022 and the representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2022 and after giving notice to the petitioner and the neighbours, shall do the needful on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
