ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in a nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2024 and to conduct the election for the Poonamallee Big Mosque Wakf Gazette Serial No.221, in accordance with law.

2.This writ petition has been filed even prior to completion of the tenure of the committee of Poonamallee Big Mosque Wakf, which ends only on 25.11.2024. The petitioner had given a representation on 11.09.2024. A mandamus cannot be issued when the tenure is still ongoing and has not yet been completed. After 25.11.2024, in accordance with the rules and regulations, I am confident that the respondents would take necessary steps for conducting elections, but certainly not on the representation given by the petitioner herein.

3.With the above observations, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
