O R D E R
The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of the suit in O.S.No.1 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif at Arakonam.
2. When the matter came up for admission on 08.11.2024, I called 1/4
for a report from the learned District Munsif at Arakkonam as to how long he requires to dispose of the said suit.
3. The learned Principal District Judge at Ranipet, Ranipet District has sent a report stating that though he has been posted as Judicial Magistrate No.I at Arakkonam, he is holding full additional charge of Judicial Magistrate's Court No.II and District Munsif Court at Arakkonam. Five years cases are pending on the file of the District Munsif Court at Arakkonam. The parties in O.S.No.1 of 2022 are not ready to conduct the trial. After receiving a direction from this Court, the learned Trial Judge directed the suit to be listed on 28.11.2024 for early disposal. The report further states that if both the parties are ready to conduct the trial, he will dispose of the suit within three months from the date of filing of chief examination.
4. Considering the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif (FAC) at Arakkonam to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.1 of 2022 within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
