The son of the petitioner who is presently living in Dubai is facing investigation regarding complaint given by one Archanan, who is the daughter-in-law of the present petitioner. Police has gone to the house of the petitioner to serve summons, but petitioner herein claims that, it is an harassment by police, which is totally imaginary and unfound.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, petitioner is not co-operating with the enquiry and she is refusing to disclose even the whereabouts of her son.
3. Petitioner herein has come out with an allegation of harassment by the Police which is incorrect. The visit of the Police to serve summons or to make preliminary enquiry cannot be termed as harassment. Moreso, the son of the petitioner is not participating in the enquiry pertaining to the matrimonial dispute. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to serve summons to the petitioner to call her for enquiry and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law.
