O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to defreeze the account maintained by the petitioner in the 3rd respondent bank. 2.

According to the petitioner on the instructions given by the 2nd respondent, the 3rd respondent bank has freezed the account of the petitioner and thereby, the petitioner is put to great hardship. Even according to the 2nd respondent statement, only Rs.10,000/- is the tainted money in the account of the petitioner. Whereas, the entire account been freezed unlimitedly.

The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that based on C.S.R.No.214 of 2024 dated 30.05.2024, the 3rd respondent bank was informed by the 2nd respondent to mark lien over the amount in the account of the petitioner and to freeze it. However, after investigation, the 3rd respondent bank is now 2/4

been communicated to restrict the account to an extent of Rs.10,000/- and mark lien over Rs.10,000/- only.
