ORDER
The present revision has been filed by the claimants seeking expeditious disposal of restoration application in I.A.No.246 of 2021 in MCOP.No.2097 of 2019 pending before the learned Special District Judge, Salem.
2. Considering the limited request made by the petitioners, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
3. Learned counsel for the revision petitioners submits that the revision petitioners are the claimants in MCOP.No.2097 of 2019, in which the claimants have sought for compensation. However, as the said MCOP has been dismissed for default, the petitioners have filed I.A.No.246 of 2021 seeking to restore the said MCOP and the same is pending for the past four years. Hence the present revision petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the said IA. Page No.2 of 4
4. On going through the docket orders, I find that I.A.No.246 of 2021 has been merely adjourned for several hearing dates right from 2021 onwards. In view of the above, this Court directs the learned Special District Judge, Salem to dispose of the restoration petition in I.A.No.246 of 2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
