Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Declaration to declare that the entire selection process for recruitment of 49 post of Assistant professors in various Departments of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) pursuant to the advertisement No.2/2016 dated 26.11.2016 issued by TANUVAS is illegal unconstitutional and 'null and void' and consequently direct the respondents to initiate the fresh selection process in consonance to the law laid by the Honourable Supreme Court India.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mrs.Mythili Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for the third respondent and Mr.S.Vijayakumar, learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2.
2. The Writ Petition is challenging the selection process conducted by respondents 1 and 2. The petitioner was a member of the Selection Committee.
3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that signatures were obtained on blank papers and the opinion of the petitioner was not taken into consideration.
4. Counter-affidavit is filed by the second respondent which suggests that the selection process was completed in the year 2017. Paragraph No.24 of the
affidavit states that the selection process of 49 Assistant Professors is conducted; list of successful candidates published and appointment orders already issued to them. The selected candidates are not parties to the present Writ Petition. Unless the persons who are appointed pursuant to the selection process are parties, no adverse orders could be passed against them.
