This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to call for the records relating to FIR No.306 of 2017 dated 05.12.2017 on the file of Porto Novo Police Station, Cuddalore District and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that in the case in Crime No.306 of 2017, after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Cuddalore, being taken on file in C.C.No.182 of 2019. The case has been posted for next hearing on 13.07.2021.

3. Since charge sheet has been filed in Crime No.306 of 2017, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
