O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2025.

2. Mr.R.M.Rajangam, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Party-in-person appeared before this Court and submitted that he made a representation for approval of building permission as well as the subsidy for construction of the house before the 2nd respondent however, the same was not considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

4. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

5. A perusal of the entire materials available on record reveals that the petitioner has not obtained the approval from the concerned Executive Officer for construction of the house, instead of which, making application before the District Collector is not permissible. Hence, the petitioner is directed to make a 2/4

fresh application along with the copy of this order before the 1st respondent and upon receipt of the said application, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, whereinafter, the petitioner is at liberty to make appropriate application before the concerned authority for claiming subsidy for the construction of the house under the appropriate scheme.

6. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction and liberty.
