Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in pa.mu.213/2025 P3 dated 12.5.2025 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 5th respondent to delete the name of Thimmakka,W/o.Thimmaiah in Patta No.1293 pertaining to the property comprised in Survey No.4/1 measuring to an extent of 0.67.50 Acres vide ref.No.2023/0103/31/297610 dated 2.11.2023 issued by the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present 2/6
writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that it would suffice, if the Appeal filed by the petitioners before the appellate authority i.e., 2nd respondent on 12.06.2025 as against the impugned order dated 12.05.2025, is directed to be disposed of by the 2nd respondent, on merits, within a specified period.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the 2nd respondent/Appellate Authority to pass orders on the Appeal filed by the petitioner dated 12.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other parties concerned and inform the decision taken to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
