O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to appoint an Inspector under the LLP Act 2018 and stop the illegal activities of the LLP, M/s. CHENNAI LASER TECH LLP, and its current partners.

2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondent, notice to the Respondent is dispensed with.

It is the case of the petitioner that in the year 2020, the petitioner along with other persons started a limited liability partnership firm (in short 'LLP firm') which was registered under the Companies Act. Subsequently, there was a dispute between the petitioner and the partners of the firm, due to which, the petitioner left out of the firm. However, due to the illegal activities of the partners of LLP firm, the petitioner made a complaint before the Law Enforcing Agency however, no FIR was registered with regard to the same. Aggrieved by which, the petitioner made a representation on 23.06.2025 before the respondent seeking to appoint an inspector under the LLP Act 2018 in order to avoid the said illegal activities of the firm and its current partners. However, no action has been taken on the same till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 23.06.2025 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid direction. No Costs.
