The petitioner herein is a tenant of the premises bearing Door No.10, Basha Sahib Street, Choolaimedu under one Ravi Kumar. Alleging that through the police, subsequent purchaser Le Prince Console 1/3
is trying to forcibly evict him, he filed the present petition seeking protection.
2. This Court is of the view that being a civil dispute, the petitioner has to approach the Civil Court for prayer not to evict him without due process of law. Under the guise of this Criminal Original Petition, he cannot get any protection of his possession as lessee which has admittedly expired. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
