ORDER
(Made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Alleging that the order dated 29.06.2017 made in W.P.No.14796 of 2017 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.
2.By suo motu order dated 05.01.2021, the Bar Council of India represented by its Secretary has been impleaded as third respondent. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the impleaded third respondent submitted that in view of the ongoing pandemic widely prevalent, it would take another six months to complete the proceedings, as it has bee transferred to the third respondent in view of the mandate of Section 36B of the Advocates Act, 1961. Learned counsel appearing for the third respondent further submitted that time limit has been extended for the completion of the proceedings by respondents 1 and 2, taking into consideration the ongoing pandemic situation. 4.In view of the above, we direct respondents 1 and 2 to comply with the order passed by this court within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, taking note of the fact that the files have been transferred from the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu to Bar Council of
India, the third respondent is directed to re-transfer the files to respondents 1 and 2 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
