ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to depute a surveyor to inspect and survey the land in new Sr.No.2/1, 1Q, Sr.No.148/1Q (ural) village, Thindivanam and to mark the boundaries.

2. The petitioner in order to survey the land in New S.No.2/1Q and 148/1Q in Ural Village, Thindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District had given application through on-line on 13.08.2021 and 20.09.2021 along with necessary fee.

3. However, so far no action has been taken by the respondents to measure the land of the petitioner to identify the boundaries, hence the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

4. Heard Ms.Rukmani Venugopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that, the application submitted by the 2/4

petitioner through on-line, if so far has not been acted upon, that would be acted upon and action would be taken to identify the boundaries after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the other neighbors.

6. In view of the said stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and having regard to the aforesaid factual matrix, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:

That there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon on the application submitted by the petitioner on 13.08.2021 and 20.09.2021 for survey of the land of the petitioner mentioned herein above and complete the survey within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
