ORDER

The petitioner had forwarded a representation on 11.10.2022 seeking issuance of legal heirship certificate, consequent to the death of his wife Mrs.Uma Maheshwari, who passed away on 02.05.2006.

2. It was stated that the death was registered with the Corporation of Chennai. The Death Certificate was also issued on 08.06.2006. The petitioner thereafter, had turned religious and had joined an Ashram and forgot about the death of his wife. He has suddenly come back to reality and now seeks legal heirship Certificate. Therefore, he had given a representation to the respondents.

3. The petitioner should be now aware that in the present days, after he had come back to lead a normal life that, the method to apply for obtain legal heirship Certificate has changed and that he should apply it through on-line.

4. The petitioner may make necessary on-line application. I am confident that the respondents would examine the same in manner known to law and in proper manner.

5. Recording as above, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
