The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 06.08.2021 filed by the petitioner within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner registered a sale deed before the third respondent, however, the said sale deed was not registered and vide proceedings of the second respondent dated 30.07.2021, the petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs.9,93,825/- towards deficit stamp duty and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred appeal before the first respondent and since the same has not yet been disposed of, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that already the first respondent issued summon on 22.12.2021, however, the enquiry proceedings has not yet been concluded and hence, this Court may issue direction to conclude the same and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 2/4
4.In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated on 22.12.2021 and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
